It’s very simple. You will talk to your date for a set period of time (e.g. 7 minutes), enough time for you to figure out if you’d like to meet him/her again. What you talk about is up to you (but we give you some questions as a guide along the way! At the end of time, you then move on to your next date. You will be given a "match card" in which you keep track of who you have met, and for each date you simply mark the form with a “yes” if you’d like to meet that person again or keep them as a friend or business contact or "no" if you would rather not see them again.  At the end of the night, you return this form. Within a few days, we will give you contact details for all your “matches” – where both you and your date marked “yes” for each other. After that it’s up to you!

This varies from event to event, so please read the details of the event you are thinking of attending - there will be a description of how you will meet each date. For a ordinary speed dating event typically 7 minutes for each date. Too short? Too long? You’ll find out for yourself!

Yes, we do allow a small leeway for most event - please see our T&C regarding age limits. We may run other events for people outside the age range of our events currently listed. If you would be interested in this, please let us know – send us a quick note on the via the Contact Us page.

We give your matches your phone number or email address, whichever you prefer, as provided by you on the night (see later question for details on this).

It really depends on what you like talking about, but it’s worth trying a few different approaches – we give you some questions to go by as a guide along the way. But the best advice is just be yourself!

You return your "score card", where you have marked who you would like to meet again. We will then go through the forms and see who your matches are. We will then email you the contact details of your matches.

When you arrive, there are just a couple of simple things you need to do. We will give you your ""score card", which you need to fill out with your contact details for your matches (either your email and/or phone number). The forms will also explain how the night will run, in terms of where you start, and how you meet all your dates. At the end of the night you need to be sure to return these forms (don't worry, we'll remind you)! But it's all very simple, you'll see! We will be there to answer any questions you may have!

Speed dating has a successful track record. Typically events have a strike rate of between 2 and 3 matches (per person), although it is not uncommon to sometimes get a few more!
